Not only is handwashing important for everyone, it is especially important for health care workers.
Avoiding a hospital acquired infection (HAI) is an important consideration. Approximately 1.7 million HAI’s occur each year according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Proper hand hygiene is a key factor in the spread of germs.
